Autoethnography conventions:

1. challenge traditional writing
2. can be in first person/mostly is in first person
3. addresses unanswered questions
4. includes new and unique ideas from outside research
5. shares personal knowledge
6. relate it to a larger community/connected to a larger community
7. challenge standard way of thinking (Standard American English**example)
8. support an unpopular way of thinking
9. support a not so known way of thinking
