Considering the feedback that you provided, I mainly need to focus on further analyzing and providing connections between affirmative action and my personal experiences.It is also brought up that I should use more examples from the past rather than more recent ones to help shape my paper. You also added that regarding the interview I did with Mr. Hill, I should look more into the training he ran and explore the pipeline program. Also, that the diversity of MHC here at Lehman is something that I should give more attention to and analyze with my own personal experiences here. I agree with these suggestions as I probably should make it more clear what the relation with my own race and affirmative action. It also makes sense to elaborate more on the data and quotes that I gave in my auto-ethnography. Additionally, you noted that I have not exactly given my own new take on affirmative action and am just giving the argument of both sides. One specific suggestion that you gave was “I don’t see the connection between affirmative action and “I am some Jewish guy.”” I agree that I should probably include more examples including myself in order to make this be more of an auto-ethnography. Some other things that I believe I should focus on more is just making my auto-ethnography more personal because reading it again I see how the focus is more on facts and affirmative action rather than my personal experiences and views.
