My blog posts don’t make much sense and sometimes aren’t related to my final project. My first draft of my autoethnography was all over the place, there wasn’t a clear topic. Blog Post 1 which was titled “Why?” was in the form of just questions. Originally I thought I wanted to work on drive and people’s motives. I later realized it was more about me without saying I or me. The next post, “Rapid Fire Prompts” had a lot of details about me that I don’t typically share. Blog Post 2 was on place and where exactly I would be writing my final project. It felt strange to write so much about my room and it was difficult to reach the word count because I couldn’t think of ways to describe my room. That’s why I ended up describing the changes I made to my room over the years. Blog Post 3 was about my parents and their perspectives. While I was writing it I couldn’t understand what it had to do with my paper but looking back at it I realize this has a lot to do with my paper. Having support or lack of it has influence on whether or not people get professional help. Blog Post 5 I started to discuss mental health disparities so I was getting closer to my topic. I hope the reader understands that my posts are going to feel like they don’t relate to one another because I never went in with a clear idea of what I was going to be writing about. I also hope they can relate on some level to what I write about or at least find it interesting.
